Cornerstone Christian Academy Band participates in the Alabama State Musical Performance Assessment competition.  The band members prepare three pieces to showcase their musical abilities while at MPA. The band travels to Gadsden City High School to compete in MPA's every February. Each year, the CCA Band has been awarded all Superior ratings! MPA judges in many different areas, such as the execution of the selected pieces, playing in tune and playing with the right balance.  Plus, the band has sight-read a piece of music.
