Cornerstone Christian Academy Extended Day Service
After School Care
for K5-3rd Grade (Only)
Extended School Day (ESD) is available for Cornerstone Christian Academy students in K5-3rd Grades after school until 4:30 pm.
This service is provided on regular school days and does not extend to holidays or inclement weather days. When DeKalb County cancels its ESD, we also cancel for weather reasons. Parents interested in this service must complete a registration sheet and choose a service plan each month (see below). Your account will be billed accordingly and will be paid through the office.
All students who have not been picked up by 3:00 pm are sent to ESD
ESD is located in the preschool building.
Fees are due by the 10th of each month.
Children must be picked up no later than 4:30.
A Late fee of $3 for every 5 minutes past your chosen plan.
Students with repeated behavioral problems or who are continually picked up late will not be permitted to remain in the ESD program.
If a plan is not specified, students will automatically be placed under Plan C.
Drop-in: Drop-in children are charged $5/day. If your child “drops in” to ESD more than four times per month. It is required that you select an ESD Plan.
Effective August 2023, there will be no discounts for the second or third child.

Extended Day Rules
No Cell Phones
No cameras
No electronics of any kind
Kids must stay with the group; no wandering around the school.
When a child goes to the restroom, they must return to class within 10 minutes unless they are sick.
Be respectful of teachers and helpers.
No carbonated beverages during Extended Day.
Please note that your child will get a demerit/strike for each rule that is broken. If your child gets three strikes, they will not be allowed in Extended Day for the rest of the school year.
